Tropical Brazil coffee - Danilo Barbosa

Nestled in the renowned Cerrado Mineiro region of Minas Gerais, Brazil, Fazenda Cachoeira is a family-run farm managed by Danilo Barbosa.

Cerrado Mineiro is the first region in Brazil with a protected designation of origin, meaning coffee labeled "Cerrado" must come from this area. This designation ensures not only traceability but also highlights the region's unique quality and flavor diversity, producing characteristics found nowhere else.

Fazenda Cachoeira farm has been in the Barbosa family for generations, beginning with Danilo’s great-grandfather, Elias Barbosa. Today, Danilo continues the family legacy with his sons, Victor Marcelo and Sergio Ricardo, along with their spouses, working together to cultivate exceptional coffee.

Committed to sustainability, the Barbosa family has set aside over 186 hectares for environmental preservation and continues researching sustainable practices to ensure 100% sustainable coffee production.

This coffee is processed using a natural fermentation method, enhancing its vibrant and complex flavors.

Tasting Notes: Expect a clean, balanced cup with tropical fruit flavors, dark chocolate, and ripe papaya, rounded off with a velvety mouthfeel and a hint of citrus.
