Located in the hills of Minas Gerais is the largest coffee-producing region in Brazil, Santos Aquarela represents the pinnacle of Brazilian coffee craftsmanship. Nestled at altitudes of 800-1100 meters, this coffee thrives in a region celebrated for its fertile soils, ideal climate, and longstanding coffee-growing tradition.
Minas Gerais produces nearly half of Brazil's coffee, including some of its finest specialty coffees. The region's mild temperatures and distinct wet and dry seasons provide the perfect conditions for cultivating exceptional coffee. The natural process used for Santos Aquarela involves carefully selecting ripe cherries, sun-drying them with their fruit intact, and monitoring the drying phase to preserve the coffee's complex flavors.
This Catuaí variety combines the best traits of its Yellow Caturra and Mundo Novo lineage, yielding a coffee prized for its balanced sweetness, rich body, and vibrant flavor profile.
