Chocolatey Praline Honduras Coffee | SCA Score 87

Finca El Encanto, located in the La Paz region of Honduras, is a third-generation family farm run by Porfirio Gámez Rodríguez.

Porfirio, having learned the art of coffee cultivation from his grandfather and father, continues the family tradition of producing high-quality coffee, a practice that began in 1930. In 2014, Porfirio partnered with COMSA, adopting organic agricultural practices to foster sustainable, environmentally friendly coffee production.

At 1570 meters above sea level, Finca El Encanto focuses on traditional methods combined with modern sustainable practices.

Porfirio’s dedication extends to every step of the process, from growing and harvesting to pulping and drying the beans.
The beans are dried under the sun, with careful temperature control and frequent movement to ensure even drying and prevent damage to the coffee’s quality.

This natural-processed coffee, which holds Fair Trade Organic (FTO) certification, is crafted from a blend of Catuaí, Caturra, and Pacas varietals. With an impressive SCA Cupping Score of 87, a rich, well-balanced cup, offers a deeply satisfying experience whether brewed as a filter or espresso.

Roaster's Comments: Whether brewed as a filter or espresso, these beans deliver a deep, rich coffee experience.
