Red Apple, Caramel, Raisin, Cinnamon
Nestled in the highlands of Papua New Guinea, between 1600 and 2200 meters above sea level, Goroka Kopi exemplifies the region’s rich history and vibrant coffee culture. This coffee is cultivated in one of the world’s most biodiverse coffee-growing regions, offering a unique combination of flavors and heritage.
Introduced in 1928 with Blue Mountain seeds from Jamaica, coffee production in Papua New Guinea has since become a cornerstone of the local agricultural economy. Grown primarily by smallholder farmers, these coffees are known for their heavy body and savory-sweet flavor profiles.
This batch combines the classic varieties of Typica, Bourbon, and Blue Mountain, processed using the washed method to enhance its clean and vibrant flavor.
Tasting Notes:
A delightful flavor profile with tones of red apple, caramel, raisin, and cinnamon, complemented by a smooth body and a lingering sweetness. Perfect for coffee lovers seeking a warm and comforting brew.
