Brazil Santos Aquarela Natural is a classic Brazilian specialty coffee grown in Minas Gerais, the country’s largest and most influential coffee-producing state. This region accounts for nearly half of Brazil’s total coffee production and is widely recognised for its consistency, scale, and ability to deliver high-quality specialty coffees year after year.
Cultivated at altitudes ranging from 800 to 1100 metres above sea level, this lot is composed of mixed Brazilian varieties and processed using the natural method, allowing sugars from the coffee cherry to fully develop and enhance sweetness and body. The result is a coffee that is approachable, well-structured, and highly versatile.
In the cup, Santos Aquarela offers a smooth and comforting profile with pronounced notes of dark chocolate and mixed nuts, supported by subtle red fruit sweetness. The mouthfeel is silky and creamy, with mild acidity and a balanced finish, making it suitable for a wide range of brewing styles. It performs particularly well as espresso, both on its own and in milk-based drinks, while also delivering a clean and satisfying result when brewed as filter.
Flavour Profile:
This coffee delivers rich dark chocolate and nutty flavours, layered with gentle red fruit sweetness and a smooth, creamy body that creates a balanced and easy-drinking cup.
