Las Lajas Black Diamond Natural is crafted by Óscar and Francisca Chacón, trailblazing producers from the Valle Central region of Costa Rica. Since joining the micromill revolution in 2005, they have transformed local coffee production through innovation and sustainability.

Black Diamond Natural process sets this coffee apart. Through a slow 15–22 day drying period, the beans are carefully monitored to maintain low temperatures, allowing sugars in the mucilage to crystallize naturally. The result is a cup that is sweeter, cleaner, and more expressive than a typical natural coffee.

Cultivated at 1600 meters on the Chacón family’s farms including Calle San Juan, Los Angeles, and Sabanilla this lot features Centroamericano and Sarchimor (T5296) varietals, known for their vibrant complexity.

This coffee delivers a harmonious balance of dark chocolate, white plum, and nectarine, ideal for filter brewing and those seeking a refined, fruit-forward cup.
