Inzá Colombia Washed is a specialty coffee grown by smallholder farmers in the mountainous region of Cauca, Colombia. Nestled within the Colombian Massif, the farms of Tierradentro benefit from fertile soils, cool mountain temperatures and abundant rainfall, creating ideal conditions for producing high-quality Arabica coffee.
Grown at 1,800–2,000 metres above sea level, this lot combines Caturra and Colombia varieties. The coffee is sourced from a network of family-owned farms, locally coordinated by the Pillimué family, who support producers through quality control, agricultural training and sustainable farming initiatives. Many of these families have cultivated coffee for generations, preserving traditional knowledge while exploring new approaches to coffee production.
The washed processing method highlights the coffee's delicate floral character and natural sweetness. In the cup, expect elegant white florals, juicy apricot notes, subtle cocoa nib depth and a smooth caramel sweetness. Its balanced profile makes it especially enjoyable as filter coffee, offering a clean and expressive cup with layers of fruit, florals and sweetness.
Tasting Notes:
White florals, apricot, cocoa nibs and caramel, with delicate fruity sweetness and a balanced, elegant finish.
