Sweet and Elegant – Guatemala Coffee
This Guatemala coffee is grown at 1,885 MASL on Finca Las Flores in the Jumaytepeque mountains of Santa Rosa. Produced by Jaime Sanchez and his father Fernando, the farm blends traditional farming knowledge with sustainable practices to improve both coffee quality and environmental health.
Cultivated as a field blend and processed using the honey method, cherries are harvested at peak ripeness, depulped the same day, and fermented before drying slowly on raised beds and solar dryers. This careful processing helps retain natural sweetness while building clarity and balance in the cup.
With an SCA score of 85.5, this coffee offers a refined and well-structured profile suitable for both espresso and filter.
Tasting Notes: Tangerine, nougat, and plum, with balanced sweetness and a smooth body.
