Fresh and Balanced
Produced at Finca De Cafe in Kirinyaga, Kenya, this coffee is grown at 1,450 meters above sea level, with views of Mount Kenya. The 8-hectare farm benefits from a rich natural environment and careful farming practices that support quality from harvest through processing.
Harvesting takes place twice a year, from April to July and from October to December. During these periods, cherries are picked by hand, with only red-ripe fruit selected to ensure better consistency and cup quality. After picking, the cherries are hand-sorted to remove underripe and overripe fruit.
The selected ripe cherries are then wet processed, dried, and delivered to the dry mill. This careful approach helps create a clean and balanced cup profile, with freshness, structure, and a clear expression of its Kirinyaga origin.
