Kenya Getuya Washed is a high-quality microlot coffee produced by small-scale farmers in Kenya and selected for its exceptional cup score. As is typical in Kenya, producers farm very small plots and deliver ripe cherry to a local washing station, where coffees are sorted, blended into day lots, and processed using the traditional washed method. From these daily lots, the best-performing microlots are carefully selected during harvest.
Grown at around 1500 metres above sea level, this coffee is made up of classic Kenyan varieties โ Batian, SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 โ known for their vibrant acidity and expressive fruit character. The washed process highlights clarity and structure, resulting in a clean, precise cup.
Designed for filter brewing, this coffee delivers lively, tartaric acidity with crisp notes of Fuji apple and grapes, offering a bright and refreshing profile with excellent balance.
