Almond, Caramel, Citric acidity, Green tea
This Colombia coffee is grown at around 1,600 MASL in the Nariño region, across the municipalities of Sandoná and Chachagüí. Produced by a collective of smallholder farmers, this regional lot reflects the shared knowledge and dedication of local producers cultivating coffee in the volcanic highlands of southern Colombia.
Cultivated from Caturra and Castillo varieties and processed using the fully washed method, the cherries are selectively hand-picked before fermentation, washing, and sun-drying. The high elevation, cool nights, and mineral-rich soils slow the maturation of the cherries, helping develop clarity and balance in the cup.
This community lot highlights the character of Nariño coffees—structured, approachable, and well suited for both espresso and filter brewing.
Tasting Notes: Almond, caramel, and green tea, with gentle citric acidity and a smooth body.
