Smooth and Nutty – Fugi Rwanda
Grown between 1,650 and 2,850 MASL in the Nyaruguru region of Rwanda, this Red Bourbon lot is processed at Fugi Washing Station using the honey method. The combination of high altitude, careful cherry selection, and meticulous fermentation contributes to a clean and balanced cup with layered sweetness.
Only the ripest cherries are selected through intensive hand sorting and multiple density separations before processing begins. The coffee then undergoes controlled fermentation stages and slow drying on shaded beds, helping develop clarity, structure, and a refined texture in the final cup.
In the cup, Fugi offers a comforting and elegant profile, with soft almond and nutty sweetness complemented by crisp apple notes. The acidity is gentle and balanced, leading to a smooth and rounded finish.
