Red fruit, honey, chocolate.Â
This Rwanda coffee is grown at around 1,545 MASL in the Nyamasheke region, near the shores of Lake Kivu—one of the country’s most respected areas for specialty coffee. The humid lake microclimate and volcanic soils allow cherries to mature slowly, developing depth and aromatic complexity.
Produced from Red Bourbon and processed using the natural method, this lot highlights the expressive character of Rwandan coffees. Careful cultivation and drying help preserve the coffee’s sweetness, structure, and layered flavour profile.
The coffee is processed at the Kirambo Washing Station, established in 2008 and revitalised in 2017 by Rwanda Trading Company, bringing consistent quality and strong support to local producers.
Tasting Notes: Red fruits, honey, chocolate, and delicate floral notes, with balanced acidity and a rounded body.
