Tropical and Juicy - Rwanda Nyamasheke Anaerobic Natural

Grown between 1,850 and 2,200 MASL in the Nyamasheke region of Rwanda, this Bourbon lot is cultivated near the Nyungwe Forest, where fertile soils and the humid climate influenced by Lake Kivu create ideal conditions for coffee production.

Since 2019, the washing station has been operated by Tropic Coffee Company, working closely with the Abadatezuka cooperative, made up of 256 smallholder farmers managing over 110 hectares of coffee. Through sustainable farming practices that support biodiversity and pollinators, the cooperative continues to produce coffees with exceptional fruit clarity and sweetness.

Processed using the anaerobic natural method, this coffee develops an intensely fruity and layered profile. In the cup, it reveals vibrant notes of mango and ripe banana, balanced by the sparkling sweetness of pear cider. Juicy, tropical, and full of character.
