Sidamo Arbegona G2 is a refined Ethiopian specialty coffee from the renowned Sidamo region, one of the country’s most celebrated and officially protected coffee-growing areas. Named after the indigenous Sidama people, Sidamo is globally recognised for producing coffees with floral aromatics, bright acidity, and layered sweetness.
This lot comes from the Arbegona area and is processed at the Shentawene Washing Station, under the work of producer Zelalem Abreham. Grown at high altitudes between 1900 and 2400 metres above sea level, the coffee benefits from rich volcanic soils, consistent rainfall, and a unique microclimate influenced by the Great African Rift Valley.
Composed of traditional Heirloom varieties alongside JARC 74112, and processed using the washed method, this coffee highlights clarity, freshness, and precision. The cup is clean and vibrant, with a tea-like elegance and well-defined fruit character.
Expect delicate notes of green tea, bright orange citrus, and ripe mango, supported by lively acidity and a smooth, balanced structure. With an SCA score of 84.5, this is a classic and expressive Ethiopian coffee, ideal for filter brewing and for those seeking finesse and clarity in the cup.
