Grown at 1,700 MASL on the slopes of Uganda’s Rwenzori Mountains, Bukonzo Dream is produced by smallholder farmers cultivating the SL14 and SL28 varieties. The coffee is naturally processed, with whole cherries slowly dried to develop a rich sweetness, juicy body, and pronounced fruit character.
The name Bukonzo Dream honours the Bakonzo people, whose farming communities have cultivated coffee across these mountain slopes for generations. The coffee is processed by Agri Evolve, which works with more than 23,000 registered smallholder farmers throughout the Rwenzori region. Its work supports farmers through reliable payments, training, improved processing facilities, coffee seedlings, shade trees, and practical equipment for farming households.
In the cup, Bukonzo Dream is vibrant and naturally sweet. Ripe strawberry brings a soft, juicy fruitiness, while a clear note of lime adds refreshing acidity and a clean, lively finish.
