Chocolate, caramel, liquorice, cocoa, medium acidity
Â
Grown in the sunlit plateaus of Cerrado Mineiro, Brazil’s first region with a protected Denomination of Origin for coffee, this 100% Arabica Bourbon comes from small to medium-sized farms practicing sustainable agriculture at altitudes between 1,000 and 1,200 meters.
Brazilian producers in the Cerrado region benefit from consistent weather, fertile soil, and generations of expertise. Using natural processing, the coffee cherries are sun-dried on patios or raised beds—taking full advantage of the region’s dry harvest season. This traditional method allows sugars and fruit characteristics to infuse into the beans, creating a cup that is reliably sweet, smooth, and creamy.
This coffee has a SCA cupping score of 83.25, making it an approachable and balanced option for both filter and espresso. With a chocolatey base and round body, the cup offers notes of cocoa, caramel, and liquorice, complemented by medium acidity and a lingering sweetness.
