Brown Sugar, Caramel, Almond, Honey
From the Chapada dos Veadeiros region in Goiás, Brazil, this specialty coffee comes from Fazenda Bagagem, a family-run farm founded in 1989 by agronomist Álvaro Orioli and his wife Lú. Originally dedicated to beans and corn, the farm planted its first coffee trees in 2007 and has since grown into 270 hectares of carefully cultivated varieties, including Yellow Catuai.
At 1,100 meters above sea level, Fazenda Bagagem produces coffee through the honey process, highlighting both sweetness and complexity. Their approach blends agronomic expertise with a deep respect for sustainability and the surrounding Cerrado biome.
SCA Cupping Score: 84
Tasting Profile: Sweet layers of brown sugar and caramel, rounded by almond nuttiness and soft honey notes. Smooth, balanced, and comforting in the cup.
